These are all absolutely great tips.

If your ride dress for it. Even if you're just hanging at the diner or Starbucks for a boring Saturday morning ride. Helmet, overpants (nylons or leathers), Jacket ( Nylon or leather with elbow pads, back plate, chest plate, or just a ridong jacket), boots. Not tennis shoes, Jordan 1s, sandals, or crocs...BOOTS, gloves with knuckle protectors and palm pads. A visor fpr your helmet and eyewear. Don't listen to loud music, stay focused, don't drink and ride, assume no one sees you, check your bike before you ride and finally have fun amd enjoy. (Not necessarily in that order but from what I remember from my rider's course.) Also, I haven't ridden a bike in so long because of the things I see on the road. So I gave up and my bike just sits there. Anyway, carry on...😊

As a human being who uses my brain I would never leave my dog in a car on a hot day, I would never let my kids use tools or equipment meant for adults. I would never let my kids, or anyone actually, or pets anywhere near the lawnmower. I would never smoke or do illicit drugs. I will always wear my seatbelt. I will always pay attention when driving and never use my cell phone while driving. I will never eat meat that looks or smells funky and been in my fridge too long. I would never get in a car with a stranger. I would never be an ED nurse, but thank god these wonderful people will.

Hmmm....I am not an ED nurse I would never do these things. Or many other things. It's a shame so many people are so stupid that they don't know these things. But I guess it keeps nurses and doctors in their jobs.

Ugh! I have a heart condition that causes my feet to swell, if I’m a passenger, ( in my own car ) I always put my feet up because they hurt and swell, when I leave them on the floor. I’ve been told how dangerous it is, I really need to find a safer way to keep my feet from swelling, but also to keep myself safe.

Sorry but when I hear ED, I think of the other thing. Since weve called it the ER in the states since the beginning & since we've had 20+ years of ED drug commercials.

Urgent Care for Seniors is nothing but a business! Especially the ones who say they will treat you “Como Familia” (like family) they will order unnecessary labs EKG and anything else they can think of and end up sending you to the ER. They are staffed by. P A’s . If they are the physician assistance, where are the physicians? Waste of time, money, and dignity.
